So I stayed home all day on new year day, practically sleeping my day away. 

Sis-in-law cook this awesome 一品锅 royal pot soup. With ingredients of big and small abalone,  shark fin, dried scallop,  mushrooms, fish maw and many more.

Then we had birthday celebration for Bernice whose birthday falls on 1st January.
